Let Go and Focus

Let Go of What you Can’t Control

Let go of what you can’t control and focus on what you can.

Special thanks to my beautiful friend, Mavis for sending the awesome graphic (below) to me yesterday (from thecounselingteacher.com).

As news regarding Coronavirus continues, it can be tough to balance staying informed with avoiding the anxiety that news updates can cause. Continuous coronavirus internet searches and bingeing on the news can contribute to the worry-fest.

Focus on What You Can Control

Focusing on what you can control, while letting go of what is uncontrollable (and unknowable), can make all the difference.

I can’t control the actions of others, but I can control my attitude (positive), my actions (CDC/fact-based preparation), and my approach (prayer-centered, family-focused, and humor-based).

And getting by with a little help from my friends (virtually, of course), is always helpful!

I hope this graphic offers you the same sense of calm I felt while reading it! 🙂

Take care, and God bless!
